We recently had an urgent need to have winter tires installed and it seemed like no tire shop in Calgary was able to accommodate us. The guys at the Bowness Mint Auto Service were also fully booked for the day but asked me to hold on and discussed fitting me in. To be be honest, I didn't expect that they would fit me in as it was around 2:00pm but they all pulled together and said that I could drop the car off and they would have the tires done by 4:30pm. The entire team was amazing and I really appreciate what they did to help.. Not only did they have the car ready by 4:30 but they were so pleasant, courteous and kind that any service I need going forward I will be calling them first. GREAT SERVICE Thanks, Andre

Communicative and transparent. They brought me into the back to show me exactly what needed to be repaired on my car and kept me in the loop throughout the repair process. Reasonable rates as well. They ordered parts as quickly as possible and got me in as quickly as possible. Joel was friendly and direct. I’d recommend this place.

Had the cooling fan short out on my vehicle and a leaky water pump gasket. The gasket would only leak at very cold temperatures making it very hard to find . Joel went above and beyond to make things right and even lent me a loaner car so I could still get to work as this is my only vehicle. Tony the head mechanic was able to explain everything to me about the repairs and why I was finding coolant on the petcock valve (I thought it was leaking and was wrong) . I appreciate the hard work and making 100 percent sure I was happy. Will use them again in the future .

This place really took care of my car got everything done in good time. Had a reverse light repaired by running a new wire instead of pulling the car apart. They even pulled strings to get my winter tires on and installed last minute while busy. You can trust these shops.

Lost heat in my Lexus and Joel was able to have my blower motor replaced within 24 hours during winter tire change season. He was very fair with the labor charged, and the technician, Tony, also repaired an issue with my air inlet actuator at no cost. Was transparent in communications, and the urgency demonstrated was much appreciated. Happy to recommend Joel and his team for auto repairs and services.

So I have been using them for my car services for a while now. I began before it was Mint, but kept going after the new owners purchased it and changed the name/franchise. I keep going because of 2 specific events. There was 2 times that I went in to get normal regular servicing, and I shared a concern I had with something else that I though was wrong with my car. They said they would test it and get back to me with quotes (perfect, not setting false expectations and/or quotes and being upfront). Both times, they came back to me saying that the issue was resolved/not replicated. This shows great integrity, because they could have said yes your car needs more unnecessary/costly work to take advantage of me and charge me. They did not. They were upfront and honest, they said that they could not replicate the issue so they won't charge me for part replacement for an issue they can't see/diagnose. The regular work I received came with an inspection so they said that covers the inspection on the issue I thought was present but was not replicated and did not charge me any extra. I now will continue to go to them and will highly recommend them for sure.
