Poor service

At Mint Auto Service, we take any review under 5-stars quite seriously. Unfortunately we have no idea who you are. We suspect you might have us confused with another establishment. -The Team at Mint Auto Service Westbrook

Had a great experience! I have a Dodge Grand Caravan and wasn't sure what was wrong. I took it to them and they told me what was needed and had it done quickly and price was amazing! 10/10 customer sanctification :)

I spent thousands for a new clutch, radiator, timing belt, water pump and more. The $170 water failed and they would not honor their warranty on the back of every receipt. Mint Auto can not be trusted.

I paid over $500, and not only did they fail to fix the issue, but the problem came back immediately—I couldn’t even drive home from the shop. Their so-called reassurance was, “If the issue comes back, just return and we won’t charge you the diagnostic fee.” That’s not a solution, that’s a joke. This place is a scam. They’re not interested in fixing your vehicle — they’re only interested in squeezing as much money out of you as they can. Total rip-off.

Good morning I'm sorry your problem came back , we would be happy to look at it for you as we said free of charge. please give us a call so we can help you resolve this issue.

I had a full brake job done on my vehicle in October 2022. I returned twice over a 6 month period in 2024 (it was still covered under their 2 year warranty) because the brakes were making noise. Their technicians took it out for a test drive both times, and when they returned, they said there was nothing wrong with the brakes. They didn't do any real testing of the brakes; just took the vehicle on a road test each time. Now after 19,000 km since the brakes were done by Mint, and 7 months after the warranty expired, the brakes began 'pulsing' at low speed while braking. I took it to a different shop and they conducted mechanical tests which confirmed that the rear rotors were shot (warped) and the likely problem/cause was the pins that the calipers slide on. They were able to save the calipers, but had to replace the pins and discs. The vehicle is just used for running around town, so for the brakes to go after only 19,000 km for the light duty it has performed, suggests that Mint didn't do the full job, or they installed defective parts, but they certainly charged me a whopping price when they did the work. So after all of this, I have to look back and say 'buyer beware' when dealing with Mint. I won't ever go back there.

Had my car in for a tire swap, they got it done in no time, my tires came looking brand new and clean not sure what they used but I love it. Shout out to Warren and the team!
